皆さんこんにちは。篠倉です。

Hi my friends. Teru here.

 

前回の更新から少し時間がたってしまいました。申し訳ありません。

抗癌剤治療の副作用が蓄積してしまい、ちょっと参っていました。

Sorry I have been struggling with the side effect of my anti-cancer agent, and I couldn’t show up here.

 

現在もクラウドファンディングは進行中であり、いままでご協力いただいた皆様、そしてこのプロジェクトを広めて頂いた皆様には日々感謝いたしております。

My cloud funding is still active and I would like to thank to the all of the people who support this project.

今日は皆様に1つ報告があり、ビデオレターを作成いたしました。

Today I have one update.

 

私の癌に少し悪化の兆候があり、11月22日にCT検査を行う予定です。

その結果は11月25日にわかる予定です。

My cancer seems growing bigger a bit and I am going to have my body CT scanned on Nov 22, and will have the result on Nov 25.

 

現在アブラキサンとラムシルマブという抗癌剤を使用して癌の成長を抑えている状態ですが、腹膜の癌がある部分の痛みが増大しており、癌のサイズが大きくなっている可能性があります。

I have been using 2 anti cancer agents called “Abraxane”, and “Ramucirumab” to disturb the growth of my cancer, but my body pain is becoming worse recently.

There is some possibility that my cancer is becoming bigger.

 

そこで今回実際にCTを使って癌のサイズを確認します。

That’s why I have to take CT scan exam.

 

そこでもし癌が大きくなっていれば、現在の抗癌剤が効果なしという事で治療方法が変更になります。

Then if my cancer is found bigger than before, it means the current anti cancer agent is not effective. And we have to change the way of my treatment.

 

そしてもし癌のサイズが縮小または現状維持の場合は現在の抗癌剤を使い続けることになります。

And if the size of my cancer is smaller or the same as the last time, I will keep using the same anti cancer agent.

 

ここで問題なのは、もし癌が悪化している場合、私に使える可能性のある抗癌剤がオプジーボという新薬のみになることです。

The biggest problem here is that if my cancer is found worse, I have only one medicine left for my treatment called “Nivolumab”.

 

このオプジーボを使った後はもう効果的な抗癌剤は存在しないとの事です。

If this Nivolumab doesn’t work well, I will have no other way to treat my cancer.

 

そして主治医曰く、オプジーボを使ったとしても、スキルス胃癌に効果がある確率は1桁パーセント台という事です。

According to my doctor, the possibility of this medicine is less than 10%.

 

少し厳しい状況になってきました。

The game seems bit challenging now.

 

ただ、実際の治療方法については今後の検査結果に左右されるため現時点では仮定の話はしないようにします。

Anyway nothing is sure now, so I will wait for the result.

 

とにかく11月25日の検査の結果が正念場です。

I will wait for the result on Nov 25.

 

もし本当に治療方法が無くなった場合の話ですが、現在標準治療以外の民間病院の免疫治療や、厚生労働省が「先進医療」として認めている治療に参加しようと思います。

In case if there is no other way left for me, I will keep seeking the treatment through private hospital and so called “advanced medical care” licensed by ministry of heath Japan.

 

民間治療や先進医療は300万円を超えるものがほとんどです。

しかし今回皆さんに頂いたご寄付を活用して可能性のある治療を続けようと思います。

The cost of advanced medical care is very high. I would like to use this cloudfunding to take such high cost treatment.

 

今回の検査がどちらの転ぶか、まだわかりませんが、どういう結果になってもまだできる事を探しながら治療を続けようと思います。

I am still not sure how the CT test goes, but no matter how it goes, I will never give up.

 

また詳しい方針は11月25日以降に新着情報として更新できればと思います。
