病院の篠倉さんからメッセージをお預かりしました。

イレウス菅という、私が1番苦手な治療がようやく終わりました。鼻からチューブを挿入し、腸の閉塞部まで入れて腸の減圧を図ります。とにかく痛くて不快ですが、効果は抜群です。とりあえず腸閉塞は解除されました。しかし今後は口からの食事が制限されそうです。

手術については未定です。すでに複数回の手術で色んな臓器を取り除いているため体力が持たない可能性もあり、手術は諦めて保存療法の可能性もあります。とにかく、危険な状況はまだ抜けられそうに無いです。

退院はまだまだ先みたいですが、がんばります。

A message from Teru who just went through a tough operation.

The ileus tube decompression, which is my least favorite treatment, is finally over. A tube is inserted through the nose to the blocked part of the intestine to decompress the intestine. It's painful and uncomfortable, but it really works. For the time being, the intestinal blockage has been cleared. However, it looks like I will be restricted from eating from mouth.

Nothing has been decided about the future surgery. There is a possibility that I might not be strong enough because I have already undergone multiple surgeries to remove various organs, so there is a possibility that I might give up on surgery and go for conservative treatment. Anyway, it looks like I'm not going to get out of this dangerous situation yet.

It may take some time before I can leave the hospital, but I will do my best.
