◆Overview of this Crowdfunding

We are an NPO supporting children with illness/ disabilities and their families. Our facility "Lila no Ie (House of Lila)" is an accommodation for patients and their families, whose houses are far away from a children's hospital and so need a temporal accommodation near the hospital. "Lila no Ie" is a place where they can stay in relief, feeling like home. We also operate a nursery school to take care of siblings of sick children.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, hospital visits were restricted. And so patients' families and siblings spent most of their time at their rooms of "Lila no Ie" without going out. Playgrounds for the siblings were also limited. Under such situation, we started thinking that we want to build something like a gazebo where the siblings can play, and to create a relaxation area for the families.

In 2023, the 15th anniversary year of "Lila no Ie," we launched a project to develop a "relaxation area" on the premises. Our wish is to build the new symbol of "Lila no Ie" with the help of our supporters, users, staff, and everyone, so we decided to raise funds through crowdfunding for the project. As the first step, we are planning to install a wooden deck space and a safe detour.
