（English）How to Support by Credit Card

Toyotomi Hidenaga was the half-brother of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a great strategist who is said to have contributed greatly to the unification of the country. He is buried here at Shungaku-in Temple.

 

We had been planning to save up funds for the 450th anniversary of Hidenaga's death in 2040, and proceed with the repair of the severely damaged main hall amd the temple quarters, but it has been decided that an NHK drama starring Hidenaga will be broadcast in 2026.

 

 

However, the current state of the temple is such that it is difficult to worship safely, with part of the roof of the main hall having collapsed, the floor sinking under the weight of the people, severe leaks, and creaking ceilings.

 

Repairs and reconstruction will cost a total of 70 million yen, but since the temple has not been designated a cultural property, we are unable to receive subsidies and are struggling to raise the money.

 

Given this background, we have decided to try crowdfunding and ask for widespread support. We appreciate your support.
