I am a third year student at the Hakuba High School Mountain Club in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture.

 

I love playing in nature and have been climbing mountains and playing in the forest since I was really interested.

 

When I went to high school, I decided to leave my parents' house and move to Hakuba, yearning for the daily life of climbing the Northern Alps and skiing in the mountains.

 

Hakuba is very rich in nature and plays in mountains and rivers every day!

 

 

 

 

After going to high school, during the summer vacation of the first year of high school, where I was devoted to nature activities in Hakuba and mountain climbing, an aunt who happened to meet at a mountain hut showed me a picture of a mountain with a Himalaya.

 

For some reason, when I saw it, the image of myself standing there appeared clearly in my head.

 

"I have to go."

 

Impressed by this sense of urgency, I immediately started to save money as a part-time job and went to the place of photography in the Himalayas for three weeks during the spring break in my first year of high school.

 

 

Until then, I was climbing around Mt.Hakuba while having other people acquaint me with me, but at that time I thought it was a mountain that had nothing to do with me, such as overseas mountains, that I could not reach. It was

 

However, when I went to the Himalayas, I was able to see the mountains that I had seen in books since I was an elementary school student, and I was deeply moved by the image of myself climbing the mountain. And I strongly felt that I would like to try something that I can do by myself.

 

In addition, I was able to experience specific mountaineering know-how and the local atmosphere, and learned the severity of local guides and the importance of human relationships.

 

Even in such a Himalaya, I was fascinated by Ama Dablam for some reason and I was fascinated by its coolness.

 

 

I want to climb this Amadabram from the bottom of my heart." It has been two years since I began to hold this thought since the spring of the first year of high school.

 

In the last two years, we have made the following preparations for climbing to Amadabram.

・ Physical training

・ Climbing technology including rope work

・ Save money by ski patrol etc.

・ Adjustment and meetings with local guides

・ Collection of infomation about Amadabram

In this project, we would like to make up for the shortage of our own funds that we have accumulated as part-time jobs since our last trip to the Himalayas, with the support of everyone.

 

After researching, it seems that only Japanese adults have climbed to Amadabram.

 

This climbing of Amada Bram is the last challenge in high school life, and also the challenge to reach the record of the youngest Japanese climber of Amada Bram.

 

 

The previous Himalayas were more like hiking than climbing, and I didn't need any entry fee, sherpas or porters, but this time the equipment is for high places, the climbing sherpas are completely different from the previous one, and the cost is more than the last time. Depends on.

 

Since training in Japan is very important and costly for this mountain climbing, I decided that it would be difficult to save all the money as a part-time job and decided to try crowdfunding.

 

By succeeding in this crowdfunding, I would like to appeal to the people of my age that I can do anything I want.

 

 

 

My future dream is a mountain guide.

 

I would like to learn more about the mountain and train to become a guide.

 

This climb of Amada Bram is a big step towards a dream.

 

I also feel that the number of young people climbing mountains is decreasing today.

 

I would like to announce to the world that even high school students can challenge the mountains of the Himalayas by taking the challenge of climbing this time, and I hope that as many people as possible will be interested in the mountains. And I want to increase the number of climbing friends of the same generation! Of course, I would be happy if people of the same generation could take on challenges other than mountains.

 

At the same time, we would like to make a project that will help younger generations like us to think about the natural environmental problems caused by climate change, which has been advancing rapidly in recent years.
 
Therefore, this time, we are aiming for mountain climbing with a small environmental load, such as traveling from Kathmandu to Lukla by foot or bicycle without using an airplane and supplying electricity with solar panels.
