酸素を生み出すシアノバクテリア、元気にわくわく培養中！

“Cyanobacteria”, which generates oxide, is being well cultivated!

 

 

世界布試作品の青緑色の色素のもとになり、われわれの地球に酸素を届けてくれた「シアノバクテリア」。東京農業大学　生命科学部　高市先生、渡辺先生、坂巻さんに、応援いただき、元気に生育中です。
今回、培養の様子を見学にいってまいりました！

 

 

Cyanobacteria, which is basement of blue-green color pigment for sekaIF and delivers oxide to our planet. Thanks for the great supports of Dr. Takaichi, Dr. Watanabe, and Mr. Sakamaki of the Fuculty of Life Sciences, Tokyo University of Agriculture, we are actively cultivating them.
This time, I went on a tour to see how it was being cultivated!

 

 

 

 

 

小さな微生物の塊（コロニー）から培養がはじまり、小規模培養、そして、５Lジャー培養と徐々にスケールを上げていき、今回、世界布の麻布のうえに、その色をそっと重ねていくのです。

Starting with a small colony, the scale of the cultivation will be gradually raised from small-level to 5L jar-level, and then, this color will be on hemp-textile there.

 

 

微生物たちがどのような特徴をもっているのか、その特徴を伸ばすためにどうするのがよいのかに向き合い、そして、その微生物たちが元気に育つ姿をみて、研究室全体が、やわらかい優しさと、わくわく感に包まれておりました。
シアノバクテリアから有用性のある物質を作り出すことに挑戦する、先生方、研究所のみなさま、引き続きよろしくお願いいたします！

 

Since everybody is eager to handle cyanobacterias to understand its characteristics deeply and nenerate new valuable materials from Cyanobacteria, and also enjoy to see their healthy growing, the laboratory as a whole was filled with a sense of softness, friendliness and respect to the life .
