Hello this is Capytonton.
I am a capybara lover and I want all capybaras in this world to live happily and healthily. Recently the crowdfunding project of Sodegaura Fureai zoo has really touched my heart with the aim of providing a better living environment for the animals there. There is Marie's capybara family with her most famous son Lexus. They are cute capybaras but for some reason Lexus has to live separately from the family. 
I hope this project will be successful to bring happiness to all the animals there and maybe let Lexus live with his family again. Looking at the way the owners there treat the animals, I think they deserve the support of everyone.

Capytonton is a Vietnamese illustrator specializing in artwork featuring capybaras. Her creations are filled with humor and cuteness, earning her over 60,000 followers on Instagram and the adoration of capybara fans worldwide.

She captures the adorable essence of capybaras and other animals with exquisite deformations and delicate touches, expressing a unique world view. Drawing inspiration from her interactions with real capybaras, her love for these creatures is deeply reflected in her work.

Recently, Capytonton collaborated on a project to support the capybaras she loves at Sodegaura. Through this collaboration, her artwork has helped to spread the charm of capybaras to even more people, contributing to the expansion of support for these beloved animals.

Thank You for Achieving Our First Goal and Our Challenge Towards the Next Goal (Update on 7/22)

We sincerely thank you all for the warm messages of support and generous contributions to the Sodegaura Fureai Zoo’s crowdfunding campaign. Thanks to your incredible support, we have reached our initial goal of 9 million yen on July 22nd.

Each of your encouraging comments has been filled with warmth and love, filling our hearts with gratitude. Your voices have given us the confidence that we are on the right path and have strengthened our sense of responsibility to fulfill this mission. We are truly overwhelmed with appreciation for the substantial support from so many people. Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to each one of you.

This time, we challenged ourselves with the “All-or-Nothing” method, where if the goal amount is not reached, the entire amount is refunded. Therefore, we set the main items for the first goal, including expanding the facility and installing surveillance cameras, to ensure the capybara family can live safely and securely. We also included items like reuse solar panels, considering both financial and environmental aspects.

We are deeply grateful for the significant and valuable funds we received through this campaign, and we are determined not to waste a single yen.

In light of this, we have re-evaluated the budget initially set for the second goal. Specifically, for those who have visited our zoo, you may have noticed that our director prefers to handle things personally. We are also considering creating the exhibition space initially planned together with our fans instead of hiring contractors. As a result, we have revised the budget as follows. With only a few days left, we kindly ask for your continued support and help in spreading the word to achieve our second goal.

Second Goal Amount: 12 million yen ⇒ Revised: 10.8 million yen

Breakdown:

1. For Lexus: 2 million yen ⇒ Revised: 1.05 million yen
• Support to integrate into the new family (construction of additional sheds or partitions)
• Exhibition space tracing Lexus’s journey
⇒ Exhibition space construction has been canceled. Staff will renovate part of the reception area.
2. Enhancing surveillance cameras: 1 million yen ⇒ Revised: 400,000 yen
⇒ Equipment will be purchased and installed by the director personally.
 3. Other miscellaneous expenses, fees, etc.: 350,000 yen
