We are “TWF no Kai”, an animal protection organization based in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, with branches in Tokyo and Akita.

Our philosophy, to create a world where animals around the world can live happily, was the strong wish of our late founder. Following in his footsteps and carrying on his mission, we have rescued over 1,200 dogs and cats and found new homes for over 750 of them.

Through our activities, we have come to realize that “saving animals also leads to saving people.”

At the scenes of multiple pet hoarding and abandonment, we often encounter the emotional SOS signals of their owners, and we deeply understand the importance of supporting both animals and people.

However, we now face a significant challenge. The shelter in Shizuoka is home for over 130 dogs and cats, many of whom are sick or injured. Medical expenses exceed 10 million yen per year, and  we are continuing to operate while remaining in a serious deficit.

Even so, we don’t want to abandon any cats or dogs. A lot of thought went into this decision, but we've made up our minds to try crowdfunding for the first time. We want to bring light to the future of both animals and people, not just one or the other. And we want to create a society where animals can live safely and happily.
