久野陶園修復工事の進捗状況
11月に入り秋も深まってきました。
10/21汗と埃と埃と埃にまみれ倉庫内片付けも、皆様のご協力をいただき無事に最終片付けを終える事ができました。
忙しい時期にも関わらず、貴重な時間をさいてお集まりくださり、本当にありがとうございました。

そして、10/24から、大工さんが入り、本格的な工事のための準備段階に入っています。
久野陶園の工場（こうば）は、後ろに山を背負っており、雨が降ると屋根からと山から工場側へ向かい雨水が流れます。壊れた雨どいや、枯葉や土で埋まっている側溝は全く機能しておらず、これまで、激しい雨の日は、施釉場へ水たまりができ、工場下は水浸しになっていました。
そのため、何よりも先に「水みち」を確保する必要があるという事で、既存の側溝を綺麗にし、雨落ちをつくったり、「水みち」を確保、地下浸透もできるよう部分的に砂層まで深い穴を掘り、炭・陶片・落ち葉を入れてミルフィーユ状態にした側溝を作ってくださっています。
陶片は、工場２階部分に詰まっていた素焼きや本焼きで処分したものが利用され、炭は、作業のかたわら、古い棚板や、棚を解体した廃材を燃やし、材料となってリサイクルされています。
そんな準備や片付けを進める中で、明らかになっていく建物の造りや、ひどく老朽化した部分等、問題点も多く出てきています。
その都度、頭をかかえながらも、資金の事も含めて最善策を考え前向きに対応・検討してくださる大工さんに心から感謝です。
笠間・益子は今日から、「陶と暮らし」「秋の陶器市」が始まり、笠間稲荷神社では、「菊祭り」も開催されています。
