【Give an unforgettable rafting adventure to the children joining the 2015 Summer Camp!】

Hello! This is the Mirai no Mori project team.

1 week passed since our project has started. Currently we have the support of 23 people and 265,000 yen!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has kindly given their support!!

In addition to the legendary fun English camp songs and team building games at the Mirai no Mori camp, this year we have many more new activities!  The various details, such as which activities will take place on which day, the contents of the breakfast menu to be made by the staff and the campers, are now being decided upon.

The dates of the children's favorite scavenger hunt and the day playing by the river are also being fixed!   Will the rafting taking place on the final day become one of the children's favourite activities too? The staff are very excited!

Today, let us introduce you about some Mirai no Mori's camp activities from 2014 summer camp.

Team Fire

The first evening, some campers are still quiet and nervous, surrounded by unfamiliar people in an unfamiliar place. Small groups work together to build their own fire, picking up the wood and arranging it just so.

There's a sense of accomplishment as the flames begin to catch and crackle. Campers practice their English as they gather around the fire. "Marshmallow please! Thank you!" Soon everyone with sticky-fingered and gleefully swapping roasting tips.

Stuffed with marshmallows, campers sit comfortably around the flickering fire with their new and old friends. A cozy contentment settles in as the flames are reduced to embers. A few eyes begin to droop with sleepiness as well.

Stream Climbing

Lizards and frogs sun themselves on rocks as intrepid campers forge their way right up to the middle of the stream. It can be hard going , but the children don't give up. They shout encouragement to those at the back of the pack, and join hands to help each other over difficult boulders and slippery sections.

After a few hours of trekking against the current, the group reaches a swimming hole with plenty of room to paddle around.

Giant boulders overlook clear deep water. Some campers muster the courage jump, and come up to the surface exhilarated and smiling. Buoyed by their excitement, others take deep breaths and get up the courage to jump, too.

"Shall we go together?" "Let's hold hands!" The children take on and master yet another new challenge together.

Only thanks to everyone's support, will this children's rafting project be possible.

All money will be refunded and back to ¥0 if the fundraising goal is not met.

We NEED your help to give new experiences to the children who will try this new challenge!
