コロナウイルスによるミャンマー渡航制限が続いています
現在、ミャンマーでは国外からの航空機による渡航は禁止されており、ヤンゴン空港の国際線の乗り入れは１０月以降となるようです。
学校も閉鎖されており、７月末頃再開される見込みです。
コロナウイルスによるミャンマー国内での州間の移動制限（２週間の隔離）がようやく解除され、ヤンゴン在住のスタッフのスノウが７月７日に現地の村を訪問しました。カンコン村での学校の浄水施設は完成していますが、鉄分が基準を超えているタマンジー村の学校ではフィルタータンクの砂層の層厚を増やす改良を行いました。浄化後のサンプルを採取し、ヤンゴンの国立衛生研究所で再チェックを行います。
さらに、鉄分除去を目的に還元状態の鉄を酸化させ、砂のフィルタと上向流で濾しとるタンクの増設を検討しています。ただ、私の渡航の見込みがたたず、現地スタッフと学校の先生方と村人だけで施工せざるを得ず、苦慮しています。
