Dear my friends and their firends in all over the world

 

I hope you are well and happy.

I as Naoko Hino(Tanigawa) am now challenging for the crowdfunding to renovate my facility.

I have established a Non-Profit Organization called "Little Oranges" (LOs) which operates 2 sites of daycare service for kids with different types of disabilities.

One of the daycare locates in the building I own and beside the daycare, it contains an inside kids park, a climbing gym, and an hourly rental space which can be used for table tennis, yoga or dancing classes.

Although it has been used by my local people on top of the children with disabilities, the building was constructed in 1990s, so we have been suffering from many damages of the building.

Last Summer typhoon Lan hit Kagoshima which is very southern part of Japan where our LOs located and we had huge damage by the water leaking from the ceilings and walls.

I have decided to renovate this huge building to provide a safer place for my children and many people have helped me in this project.

2 years have passed since I firmly decide to make a secure, fun and safe place for future children, though I have failed to obtain many grants. Instead of spending time and the cost for applying to other grants, I have decided to carry this project by ourselves with my supporters.

 

I was super lucky to meet one of the most famous architects in Japan, Ryutaro Saito and he had designed a new building which is sophisticated, environmentally-friendly and universal design.

Besides the current business the new building will contain a coffee roastery cafe, a mini-concert hall and will be run by adults with disabilities.
I wish the place to be used and enjoyed by many different types of people and create many chances to interact and make connections in this diverse era.

 

The donation starts from 1000JPY which is as small as about 6-7USD so I am hoping many people casually participate to support our dedicated challenge to contribute for the better future for the local people including children and adults with disabilities.
