It was my greatest pleasure to represent my country for the second times in the Olympics games which are the highest level of sports.

 

スポーツの最高峰であるオリンピックに、2度目の南スーダン代表として出場できたことはこの上ない喜びでした。

 

 It was unfortunate that I was unable to compete in my main event which is 1500m as I failed to get the qualification by few seconds but still I was happy to also take that new challenge at such a big level and to compete with world's top Athletes like Marco Arop and many others in the 800m events.

 

数秒の差で出場権を得られなかったため、私のメイン種目である1500mに出場できなかったのは残念だったが、それでも、このような大きなレベルで新たな挑戦ができたこと、マルコ・アロプをはじめとする世界のトップアスリートと800mで競えたことは幸せでした。

 I was not prepared enough for 800m but was able to finish. The results didn't please but the fact that I represented my country at Olympics was a pleasure.

 

800mは十分な準備ができていなかったが、完走することはできました。結果は満足のいくものではなかったが、国を代表してオリンピックに出場できたことは嬉しかったです

 

In the Olympic Village we had people from across the world and I could feel how sports have the power to bring people together.

 

オリンピック村には世界中から人々が集まり、スポーツがいかに人々を結びつける力を持っているかを感じました。

 At the closing ceremony I was so happy to be once again a flag bearer for South Sudan for the second time at the Olympics and that was something to be proud of.

 

閉会式では、南スーダンの旗手として2度目のオリンピックに出場できたことはとても嬉しく、誇りに思います。

 

 

Seeing my country among other flags of the world is a sign that my country is part of the world and seeing all those flags flying together under the same stadium made me believe that the world is just a one family located at different parts of the universe.

 

世界の国旗の中に自分の国があるのは、自分の国が世界の一部であることの証であり、同じスタジアムの下ですべての国旗が一緒に掲げられているのを見ると、世界は宇宙のさまざまな場所にあるひとつの家族なのだと確信しました。

 

The Olympics rings at the village are attached together meaning the world is a family attached together in different beautiful colours. I was also able to make a lot of new friends from the games and I felt the importance of Olympics to Athletes.

 

 

選手村にあるオリンピックのリングは、世界がさまざまな美しい色で結ばれた家族であることを意味しています。また、大会を通じて多くの新しい友人を作ることができ、アスリートにとってのオリンピックの重要性を感じました。

 

To conclude, I would say everything about the Olympics was amazingly exciting and memorable

 

結論から言うと、オリンピックに関するすべてのことが、驚くほどエキサイティングで忘れがたいものでした。
