In search of beautiful things yet to be seen.

In order to continue to present the wonderful Japanese culture of craftsmanship to the world, the select shop PARKS will be transformed into keylime this summer.

I opened PARK Paris three years ago. It has not been an easy road, but with the support of many of you, we have made it this far.

I want more people to know about the beauty of Japan through fashion, which I can see only because I am based overseas.

The name is 'keylime'. We will create a base in Tokyo for transmitting our products to the world.

At first glance, it may appear to be a small shop. But we are confident that our passion for fashion is second to none. In this fast-changing world, we continue to challenge ourselves in search of beautiful things that have yet to be seen.

Thank you for visiting our page. My name is Seki, I'm a Fashion Improver.

Fashion Improver is an unfamiliar title, but my job is to improve everything related to fashion.
Specifically, after becoming independent in 2016, I have worked as a freelancer to support Japanese brands to expand overseas, French brands to expand into Japan, and opened the concept store PARKS Paris in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France in 2019. I have been engaged in building bridges between the two countries.

I am working hard every day to introduce the appeal of Japanese wonderful design and craftsmanship from Paris to the rest of the world.

At the age of 22, I worked in the concept store CANNABIS in Harajuku, Tokyo.
In 2008, I participated in the launch of the concept store 1LDK in Nakameguro, Tokyo.
Proposed the opening of the 1LDK shop in Paris, while overseeing the buying and management of all shops.
2015 Opening of "1LDK" Paris shop (moved to Paris upon opening).
2016 - Became independent to pursue a wider range of activities.
October 2019 Opening of my own concept store 'PARKS Paris' in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

Main work undertaken since independence to date

Directing the concept store 'TF' in Tokyo.
Directing the shirt brand S H.
Sales of fashion brand CIOTA.
Sales of French brand DE BONNE FACTURE in Japan.
Japanese distributor of French interior design magazine Sloft.
"PARKS EXHIBITION" joint exhibition in Tokyo and "PARKS SHOWROOM" showroom in Paris.
Photography, interviewing and writing for magazines and web magazines.

Living and actually working in Paris gives me many opportunities to talk to people from all over the world, not just locals. They all talk about the high quality of Japanese fabrics and products and the carefully edited selection of Japanese boutiques.

I have found that the Japanese fashion scene, especially brands and shops in Tokyo, are looked at with respect by people from all over the world.

By creating a shop in Tokyo, a city in Japan that attracts the attention of people from all over the world, we hope to create a place where not only people living in Japan but also people from many other countries can come.

My goal is to transmit the wonderful Japanese design and craftsmanship to the rest of the world through the shops in Tokyo and Paris.

As far as I know, there are currently no select shops in Paris run by Japanese people.

I launched this project with the hope that by having a second shop in Tokyo, a city that attracts people from all over the world in the same way that Paris does, more people will become aware of my activities and support me.

I have decided to change the name of the shop from 'PARKS' to 'keylime' and start anew.

I chose 'keylime' as the shop name because it was my favourite colour and I liked the sound of it.
I want to create a shop where fashion-loving customers from all over Japan, as well as from overseas, will come here to aim for my products.

After the opening of the Tokyo shop, we plan to develop brands and original items selected by keylime in Tokyo and Paris, and also hold sales events in the form of pop-up shops in the USA, South Korea and Europe. We have a grand dream of eventually opening shops in cities all over the world, depending on the response we get there.

Over the past few years, I have been visiting fabric mills and sewing factories all over Japan and have seen the reality that many wonderful Japanese craftsmen are forced out of business due to the ageing of the workforce and their future is in jeopardy.

It's not easy, but I think what I can do is to use my passion for fashion, which I have always had, to convey the wonderful craftsmanship of Japan to the world.

If I build a cool shop, more people will support me. I continue to work with this simple feeling.

For me, a cool shop is a place that not only conveys the feelings and enthusiasm of the people involved in manufacturing, but also allows visitors to learn new things and think deeply about things.

I hope that what I'm going to do in the future will ultimately give something back to the world of fashion, which has entertained me and helped me grow. I also want more people to know that Japanese people can compete on the world stage even if they only have a passion for fashion.
