Our goal now is five million yen.

We met our first target！

 

Thanks to you and many others, we reached our target sum of three million yen in 17 days, much faster than we had expected. Along with contributions, we received many messages of encouragement. Students, teachers, parents and community members are inspired and greatly encouraged, knowing that you care. We are profoundly moved by the strength of your support! Our hearts are full of gratitude.

 

But the Hiroshima Korean School needs more help, so we, the fundraising committee, are taking up a new challenge. Our goal now is 5 million yen!!

 

Previously, as you know, we set a goal of three million yen to purchase 14 air conditioners to make our school more comfortable this summer.

 

We met this preliminary target, but to get all the air conditioners installed, including construction costs, we still need seven million yen. Originally, the school planned to cover these costs from its budget, but we want to reduce this burden. We want to help the school as much as possible, which is why we are continuing this drive.

 

Our goal now is five million yen, so we need your help again!

 

To celebrate its 75^th anniversary, the Korean School is planning to improve its WiFi and ICT environments as well as providing skills training to teachers and other school staff. We want our administrators to focus on these plans without worrying at all about air conditioners. The more we contribute for air conditioning, the more funds our school will have for its top priority—education.
