My name is Ryo Asakura and I am the representative of Life book.

 

We provide an autobiography production service that presents your family's "life" in a one-of-a-kind book .

 

 

Lifebook is a service that my grandmother put a lot of effort into creating.

I had to say goodbye to my beloved grandmother without being able to hear about her life .

 

The only thing I couldn't say was, " Thank you for everything ."

 

“ Regret of not being able to tell her, regret of not being able to listen ” that I myself experienced when parting with my grandmother.

We started our business in 2019 with the desire to reduce the number of people who have such regrets.

At the screening of director Naoko Nobutomo,

We held an exhibition in Kamishihoro Town, Hokkaido for three days from September 8th to 10th, 2023.

We have received feedback from people with dementia and their families,

We have now launched this project.

 

Dementia is a brain disease in which memory gradually fades , although the progression varies from person to person .

 

It is necessary to deliver the autobiography as soon as possible before the symptoms progress.

In 2025, there will be approximately 7 million elderly people in Japan.

As dementia progresses, interactions with the outside world become restricted, a vicious cycle that worsens.

The mental burden on families who become isolated from daily caregiving has become a social issue.
