Okinawa Zoo and Museum has launched a fundraising campaign!

Okinawa Zoo and Museum is the southernmost zoo in Japan, located in Okinawa Island. We have been established since 1970 with the spirit of YUI-MARU (Okinawan dialect-meaning “cooperation/support and help each other”). There are many animals including native species in this region. 

Okinawa Zoo and Museum has launched a fundraising campaign!

Due to the spread of COVID-19, the number of visitors has declined by *70.7%.
 *April through September, 2020, comparing to the same period in 2019
Due to this fact, we are experiencing financial difficulties in order to run our facilities. 
We sincerely ask you to support us with the spirit of YUI-MARU.

Goal of fundraising: 19,700,000yen (include administrative fee/ 3,683,900 yen)
