夢の4ローターエンジンで、フォーミュラDジャパン総合優勝を！

国内唯一のマシンでフォーミュラ・ドリフト・ジャパン 2018に参戦！

 

はじめまして、日本で2014年から自動車ドリフト競技「Formula Drift Japan（フォーミュラD）」に参戦しているチーム「TCP-MAGIC レーシングチーム」と申します！

 

私たちはマツダRX-7に、かのル・マンを制した4ローターエンジン（ローターを4基搭載したロータリーエンジン）と同じ方式のエンジンを独自開発し、さらにこれをツインターボとすることで1000馬力以上の出力を引き出しています。4ローターエンジンを搭載した競技マシンを運用しているのは国内で当チームだけであり、このエンジンを搭載した車輌「HUMBLE」でこれまで3年に渡ってフォーミュラDに参戦し続けています。

 

さらに世界的にも名声、実力共にトップクラスであるマッド・マイクという人気選手とジョイントし、2016年にはフォーミュラDワールドチャンピオンシップ第2戦エビスサーキットで優勝、2017年の第4戦奥伊吹モーターパークでも優勝を勝ち取るなど好戦績を積み上げてきています。

 

今回、「フォーミュラ・ドリフト・ジャパン 2018 Round1」に必勝体制で参戦するための費用を皆さんにご支援いただきたいと、このクラウドファンディングを立ち上げました。私たちと一緒に、4ローターエンジンで日本一の座を勝ち取りにいきましょう！ご支援ご協力のほど、何卒よろしくお願いいたします。

 

Hello, our name is TCP - MAGIC Racing Team, a team that is participating in Formula Drift Japan (Formula D) in 2014!

 

We independently developed an engine of the same type as the 4-rotor engine (Rotary engine equipped with four rotors) that won Le Mans in Mazda RX-7, and by further making this a twin turbo, We draw more than 1000 h.p. output. It is only our team in Japan that runs competition machines equipped with 4 rotor engines, and we have been participating in Formula D for three years with the vehicle "HUMBLE" equipped with this engine.

 

In addition, We join with popular player Mad Mike, who is top class in both fame and ability worldwide. We won the Formula 2 World Championship 2nd Round Ebisu Circuit in 2016, 4th Okuibuki Motor Park in 2017. We have accumulated good results such as winning the victory.

 

This time we started this cloud funding to be supported for the cost to participate in Formula Drift Japan 2018 Round 1 with a winning system. Together with us, let's win the top position in Japan with a 4 rotor engine! Thank you for your support and cooperation.

「TCP-MAGIC レーシングチーム」が4ローターエンジンを積んだ国内唯一の競技マシンでフォーミュラDに参戦し続け勝利を積み重ねることは、ル・マンで見たロータリーの夢の続きを追うことでもあります。

 

ロータリーエンジンは発明したドイツ人ですら諦めたエンジンです。それを実用化し「世界初の2ローターロータリーエンジン」として1967年にコスモスポーツを発売して以来、継続的に市販車としてロータリーエンジン車を市場に投入し続けることができたのは日本のマツダだけです。

The rotary engine is an engine that even the German gave up ,who invented it. Since putting it into practical use and launching Cosmo Sports in 1967 as the "world's first two-rotor rotary engine", Mazda Japan is the only company that introduce rotary engine cars on the market continuously as commercial vehicles.

そして、マツダは1991年ル・マン24時間レースを4ローターエンジンで制しました。レーシングエンジンとしてもロータリーエンジンは世界の頂点に立ったのです。

 

この独自のエンジンにはいまだに世界中に多くの熱狂的ファンに支持されています。

 

しかし2012年6月にマツダはRX-8の生産を終了。これまで市販車として発売されたロータリーエンジン搭載車は最大でも3ローター。4ローターはレーシングエンジンとしてしか存在していません。

 

私たちはこのエンジンをさらにツインターボ化し、マツダもなしえなかった領域で世界中のロータリーファンに4ローターの夢の続きを見せ続けたいと思います。そのために、全身全霊でフォーミュラDに臨むべく、各ラウンドでクラウドファンディングによるスポンサー様の募集を行います！

 

And Mazda won the 1991 Le Mans 24 Hour race with a 4 rotor engine. As a racing engine, the rotary engine stood at the top of the world.

 

This unique engine is still supported by many enthusiastic fans all over the world.

 

But in June 2012 Mazda finished production of RX-8. Up to three rotors with rotary engines, which were released as commercial vehicles until now, are the largest. 4 Rotor exists only as a racing engine.

 

We will make this engine with twin turbo system and I would like to continue to show the continuation of the 4 rotor dream to Rotary fans all over the world which Mazda could not have done. For that, we will recruit sponsors by cloud funding in each round to face Formula D.

 フォーミュラ・ドリフト・ジャパンとは？

 

2004年にアメリカで誕生した「FORMULA DRIFT」（通称：フォーミュラＤ）は、市販車をベースにチューニングしたマシンで競うドリフト競技です。今ではアメリカ国内のみならず、「FORMULA DRIFT ASIA」として、シンガポールやタイ、オーストラリアなどでも定期的に開催されています。そして、日本では、2014年から「FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN」が開催されるようになりました。

 

What is Formula Drift Japan?

 

"FORMULA DRIFT" (common name: Formula D) born in the United States in 2004 is a drift competition competing on a machine tuned based on a commercial car. It is now held not only in the United States but also as "FORMULA DRIFT ASIA" regularly in Singapore, Thailand, Australia and elsewhere. And in Japan, "FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN" has started to be held from 2014.

マツダのロータリーエンジン搭載車輌の生産がなくなった現在、「夢の」4ローターエンジンでの競技参戦を続け、そして勝利することは、数多くのロータリーファンの喜びであるだけでなく、ロータリーの灯を消さないためにも必要なことであると考えています。私たちはそのために日々研鑽を重ね、勝利に向かって邁進しています。
