Miracles in NYC

We had 'Happy Doll Project' in New York City, 2010 as the first program outside of Japan.

At FAO Schwarz, the toy shop which is famous for the movies 'Big' and 'Home alone 2: Lost in New York'. We had a Happy Doll Project for the kids with cancers.  They are in the Halloween fashion and created their own lovely dolls.  Sadly some of them passed away afterward though, we do hope Happy Doll Project could bring some enjoyable moment to the kids and families.
 

At Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, kids are hospitalized for long periods and their family joined the program.

There was a little girl who lost words and voice because of a inconceivable shock of heavy burn.  Her family brought her in the program. sat still with silence, we could barely image how painful it was.  After she looked and touched the colorful ribbons, beads and buttons for a while, her eyes are getting shiny and she got into making her piece.

After hours, she finally made it!

At the end of the program, we hear the little voice from the little girl.

"Thank you."

"Happy Doll" brought a miracle to the girl in New York.
