We have launched a project “To tell stories of the last textiles from only one factory left in Palestine - by Kiyomi Kitamura” at a crowdfunding site “READYFOR?”.

Crowdfunding is to realise a dream of a project through raising funds from the supporters. The dream of Amal Falestini is to save a Palestinian scarf called Last Keffiyeh by publishing its brand book.

Last keffiyeh is a scarf manufactured at a weaving factory in Palestine, which is left only in Palestine after cheap foreign products took a dominant share of market, destroying the local textile industry. Given the current situation in Palestine, sustainability of Last Keffiyeh is under threat. The aim of a brand book is to save it by attracting more people.

If the contributions does not reach the targeted price within a specific term, the fund will return to the hands of the supporters. We need your contribution. We also need your support for promotion by tweeting or liking the page.
