Australia's Polish restaurant burned down on 31 December 2016
I want to send a donation for the reconstruction of "The Polish Place"!

Thank you for reading this pages. My name is Ryo Uchiyama. I am a Japanese Calligrapher and a dancer in Tokyo. Mainly designing 毛筆 and a Japanese Calligraphic teacher, Dance teacher, Artificial field like stage performance .I’m working for people to have dream and hope every day.

In this time, the reason why I’m challenging to Cloud founding is for donation. The donation is for “The Polish Place”, restaurant in Australia which burned down. “The Polish Place “ was run by the family of Ms.Sorter. However, “The Polish Place”was burned down at the end of last year. This family is very important to me, and I want to support this family from my country, Japan.

They need tens of millions of yen for rebuilding the restaurant. This challenge is for a part of what they need, a million Japanese yen. Please support for this family and think about some donation.

“The Polish Place” was loved by its local and customers.
The restaurant was famous there and had 34 years history.

The restaurant had a great scenery. Nature in Tambarin Mountain catches people’s eye. This scenery was astonishing. Many people who came here for honeymoon and celebration got memories at this restaurant.。

However, terrible thing happened to “The Polish Place

In the midnight on 31th December at 2:15------ The restaurant and house were burnt to ashes. The cause is unknown.

The Sowters restaurant and house destroyed in a ferocious fire on New Year’s Eve. The fire originated in a kitchen.

When we confirmed with Mr. Sowter, the cause is unknown. The cause of the fire is a complete mystery, someone's carelessness or an incendiary fire.

Mrs. Sowter told us the fire spread in an instant and burned out all things. She woke up because of smell of the smoke. There was nothing that can be done when she saw that the fire came out from the kitchen. She woke her husband and grand-children up and were forced to run for their lives. However their beloved dog, Pinja couldn’t escape and loose his lives. He was a precious member of the Sowter’s family.

They were just watching their restaurant and house burning. I think it was so hard and inestimable.Mrs. Sowter said firefighters spent three hours battling the blaze, but were unable to save the building.

**Mr and Mrs Sowter stood at times. It’s all gone — 34 years in the making, they lost absolutely everything in one night.**

The Sowters vowed to rebuild after their restaurant was destroyed in a fire on New Year’s Eve.

The Sowters had a miserable experience, but they weren’t in deep sorrow.
There are so many guests and fan who loved the restaurant for 34 years. So the Sowters told me that they want to rebuild the restaurant as soon as they can for them.

The damage caused by fire amounts to is estimated at several tens of millions yen. They saw no outlook for rebuilding their house and restaurant. However, many people who knows the restaurant or Sowters family, and who know this terrible accident from the news are sending support comment and funding.The Sowter family are going to take a new step for surrounding people who expected reopen the restaurant.

**Their restart made the headlines on local newspaper!**

I thought that I want to donate money to my loved Sowter family menbers, but there is a limit to sending much money by myself. I hit on a good idea that I use crowdfunding for Sowter family.

If the support funding will be reached one million yen, of course it’s no such matter to cover all costs for rebuilt the restaurant and house. However, I want to push their challenging.

I would like to ask you for your help.

I hope the future that Sowter family can work at the restaurant with full smiling.

Many people who read this may think it’s strange that I support Sowter family in Australia, the country over the sea and a border. However, I believe it’s the same feeling that “ agony of the loss of family and memory agony” and ”want to support someone’s challenging”

I want to transmit that Sowter family’s character and the restaurant was loved by many people in local to everyone. It isn’t hypocrisy or self-complacency that I’m challenging the crowdfunding.

I want to tell this story to many people and court your approbation, and I want to support Sowter family. I really would like to ask you for your help.

I’m planning that I’ll visit Australia in February or March. I’m thinking that I’ll update the information and interview of Sowter family.
