メッセージリレー第11弾 :レンレン
私の名前はレンレン！みなさんこんにちは！私はバティアのセントマーサエステイトに住んでいるレンレン、１４歳です。覚えてくれているかたもいらっしゃるでしょうか。そう、目をしばたたかせて、炭焼きの煙がもうもうとたっているスモーキーマウンテンの家の前にたっていた、９歳のわたしがこれです！
あの頃は、通っているスモーキーマウンテンのPCFの学校の制服がいちばんの晴れ着でした。あそこだけしか息がちゃんとできるところがなかったです。今の私がこの下の写真！ずいぶんおおきくなったでしょ？すっかりお姉さん先生です。
セントマーサにきてからすごく楽しかったです。こんなふうに明るくなりました！
わたしには弟と妹がいて、お父さんはマニラの船着き場で荷揚げをして働いています。お酒をよくのむのはしかたないですが、わたしはお父さんが大好きです。お母さんは2年まえから住み込みでマニラの裕福な家のメイドをしています。
セントマーサの生活はスモーキーマウンテンにいたころよりずっといいです。ここだと目も痛くならないし空気もきれいで家もあります。野菜栽培プロジェクトにはわたしも参加しました。家で野菜をいっぱい植えています。おかげで料理にいっぱい使っています。
この生活をまもるためにお父さんは、ここにきてから1週間でマニラにもどってしまいました。誰かがマニラで働いて仕送りしないといけないからです。お母さんも仕事をとって出稼ぎにでなくてはなりませんでした。でないとわたしたちの生活がなりたたないからです。もしお母さんが帰ってきてくれて、野菜スナックをつくってくらせたら、とてもうれしいです。
わたしは、弟たちのためにご飯をつくったり洗濯をしたりして世話をしています。スモーキーマウンテンではPCF財団がやっていた小学校を卒業しましたが、私の成績は2番だったんですよ！！将来は先生になりたいかな。。。
学校が終わってからは弟たちと同じくらいかもっと小さい子供たちのために本を読んであげています。クイズをだしたりして子供たちが飽きないようにしています。そして、楽しみなのが野菜スナック！こんな楽しい生活を続けられたらうれしいです。私はもっと勉強して大学にいきたいです！
