支援者さまのメッセージから思うこと（１）
みなさまお元気でいらっしゃいますか？
暑い日本の夏も本番ですね！
あと2日でこのクラウドファンディングも終了します。
今募集中の資金はあと７０万円、集まれば屋根を長持ちさせる予算につかえます。180万円はぎりぎりの予算ですが、現地の設計事務所の人々や日本からのボランティアの学生たちの貢献は「無償」で提供されていますが、集まったお金は建築資材を調達するためにあてられます。
やはり建てる以上は日本の公民館のように、長く使ってほしい、と願っています。熱帯の気候だと傷みが早いですが、修繕したりしながら末永くつかってほしいです！
何年かたってビジネスが軌道にのり、「ここが私たちのスターティングポイントだったね」と皆で思い出して「こんなに今は
生活もよくなってよかった！子供の学校の費用もあるし、毎日きちんとご飯が食べられてよかったね。」とおかあさんが話し合ったりして感慨にふけるような日々を夢見ています。
コミュニティのシンボルになって、皆で集って飲んだり食べたりしながら
子供たちをいっしょに育てる力にしてほしい！と願っております。
マニラのいろいろなスラムから移住してきた3500世帯の人々にはまだ
「まち」「コミュニティ」としての連帯が不足しております。
これをなんとか育てていきたい！そう願っております。
支援者さまのなかにもご自分の幼い頃、貧しかった頃を振り返られて、
セントマーサエステイトの子供たちに少しでも豊かな思い出をつくってあげたい！食べるものをきちんと食べて、なんとか教育をうけて社会に巣立ってほしい！あるいは奥様がフィリピンのミンダナオ島出身で、貧しかった頃の
経験を共有されているかたなど、いろいろな思いを重ね合わせておられます。
