国連理事も参加する、世界最大の若者限定 国際フォーラム「One Young World」へ福島の高校生を派遣したい！ 2人分の参加費用が足りません。

 

今、福島から3名の高校生を派遣するプログラムが動き出しています。
必要経費1人分は確保できましたが、残り2人分が足りません。彼らはそれぞれ福島のために何かしたい思い、そして、将来の夢を持っています。彼らの思いを聞き、夢実現のキーとなるOneYoungWorld参加のため、援助をいただけないでしょうか？

194カ国以上から1300人以上の若いリーダーが結集する、次世代リーダー育成フォーラム、それが"One Young World"です。2009年のWEF（世界経済フォーラム）において宣言され、2010年2月にロンドンで第1回サミットが開催され、これまでに5回のサミットが開催されました。

参加者である全世界の若者たちは、世界的に有名なリーダーと共に、自分の夢と取り組みを、真っ向から議論する1週間を過ごします。その他社会問題に関してディスカッション、自分の地域へのアクションプランを考えるワークショップなどに参加します。

この国際フォーラムは私自身、2014年に参加しましたが、大勢の世界中で活躍する若者のリーダーの他、世界的に有名な著名人（＝カウンセラー）が、教育、環境、ビジネス、人権、政界、平和維持の分野から集結する、とてつもない熱量のある場でした。

例えば、国連の元理事コフィ・アナン氏や、グラミン銀行発起人ムハマド・ユヌス氏など、本や社会科の資料集でしか見ることができない面々が並んでいます。ダブリン大会ではスポーツ会から水泳の記録保持者や、芸術分野などからも参加がありました。

あらゆる分野の刺激的な人たちに囲まれ、高校生は彼らから薫陶を受け、それが自信となります。また、自分のこれから、また、自地域には何ができるのか考え、アクションプランを出すチャンスがいっぱいあるのがこのフォーラムの特徴です。

私は昨年参加し、こんなとてつもない成長の場を福島の高校生にも届けたい、その思いでこのプロジェクトを始めました。そこで名乗りを上げてきたのがこの３人です。

彼らには夢も、福島でやってみたいこともあります。彼らならこの成長の場を大きく活用してくれる。そう思い選考を経て、選出しました。教育の多くでは、いい大学に行くことや、部活で名を上げることが不動の「良さ」となりがちですが、自分が本当に何をしたいか、何ができるか、考えることが今後の人生の支えになると信じています。必要だと思います。

 

世界に挑戦し、これから自分が何をしたいか考えるチャンスを彼らにください。すでにアイディアを持っている彼らですが、エネルギッシュな彼らに、OneYoungWorldで得る、多くの閃き、自信があれば、福島・日本に新しい風を吹かしてくれるはずです。皆様の応援よろしくお願いします。

◀︎私自身が参加して▶︎ 

 

私も過去に参加者として、One Young Worldの場に立ちました。私は二つの大きな経験をしました。一つは世界中の人の前で発言をしたことです。話した内容は福島の原発に関することです。その動画がこれです。

大した内容は言えてない自覚が深くありました。けれども、発言後多くの人が私の周りに集まってくれました。思いを発することの大切さ、発する勇気が共感を呼べるということを心の底から学びました。そして私も世界に発信ができるんだと大きな自信と確信を得ました。

もうひとつは最終日に聴いた、私に衝撃を与えたスピーチです。内容は北朝鮮から脱北した人のスピーチでした。これが私にとって最も衝撃的な出会いでした。


北朝鮮といえば、ニュースでみる姿が全てだと思っていた私のイメージを全て変えました。と同時に、自分は何も知らないということを心の底から感じました。参加者の彼らは自分の周りの問題に取り組んでいる、けれど、私自身は、何がしたいか、何ができるか、本気で考えさせるこのようなスピーチが多くあります。

世界中の人がこのようなアクションを取る一方、自分がどんなアクションができるのか、そして何をしたいか、真剣に考えさせました。ぼくができることの第一歩は、こんな新しい発見に満ち溢れたすばらしい場を、震災も起き、自分の将来について考えるきっかけも余裕もない環境にある福島の高校生に返すことだ、そう思い現在に至りました。

福島の高校生と直接顔を見て個別報告会をさせていただきます！高校生は学校もあるので福島から動くことが難しいので、GoogleHangout(gmailアカウントがあれば無料です)を用いたビデオ通話による報告会をさせていただきます。彼らの声を直接聞いてあげてください。

今回参加する高校生と共に共同イベントをするための相談権利です！このような場に参加できる高校生は本当に稀なので、どこかに登壇してスピーチをしてまらう等発想は「自由」です。彼らと何かイベントをやりたいなという方ぜひご相談しましょう。

Support highschoolers in Fukushima!! To join world biggest international forum ‘One Young World’ and find their unnoticed potential and achieve their dream!!

 

Hello, I’m Taichi Ichikawa, grown up in Iwaki city, Fukushima, where the great earthquake happened 4 years ago. This project is for giving highschoolers a chance to recognize their great potential and develop their future prospects. One Young World, the world biggest international forum will be the stage.

 

One Young World is a global youth forum for young leaders aged up until 30 and gathers over 1300 delegates from 194 countries. They discuss about many social issues, listen to incredible speeches, interact with world famous leaders, Kofi Annan, Bob Geldof and many other leaders.

 

It is tremendous moment for attenders to be motivated by such counselors and inspiring speeches given by delegates from different world. Highschoolers can find their potential and notice they are the members of new global leader, and can consider what they can do for their own community.

 

It is necessary to bring this opportunity to Fukushima, it’s closed community to outside of world, education doesn’t prioritize international experiences, many of people don’t afford it because disaster happened. As a citizen of Fukushima and the one who noticed its importance, I would like to raise fund and give this opportunity to make new HOPE for Fukushima where is still suffering for the disaster. ◀︎Why Fukushima highschooler? My message▶︎
They are taught to be “better”, not seeking their dream
One Young World will change them

What is the purpose of education?
Getting the best grade? Best prize in school club?

No. Those are important, but we must consider what we are seeking behind them. That should be a dream and finding what you really passionate to do.

In Fukushima education, the most important thing is having good grade and going to better school, no chance to think their dream and future prospects. Then students choose major without enough thoughts, go to university, then find themselves lose their way to go and don’t know why they came to the university and chose the faculty. (In Japanese university, you have to choose major before you get in)

Also, in that process, they often lose self-confidence comparing with others because they think they have no value if they can’t be "better".

I was also the one who was in that education system, lost confidence often time, found myself not knowing why I choose politics major. Many of my friends asked me why I chose it, couldn’t answer, had self-contradictory, can’t find where to go….

 

One Young World changed me. I told my thoughts and passed exams to be funded and join it. When I was in opening ceremony, I thought… “I could come here all the way from Fukushima, there is no other place I can’t go!!” This moment recovered my self-confidence. Also One Young World taught me the importance of knowing what I really love to do, that’s will be the way I should follow, and potentially will be a job and dream!

 

It is still regrettable that Fukushima education hasn’t offered such opportunity for high school students and have them realize their talent and potential, even though it’s the area that great earthquake happened and needs new hope and leaders to lead their community.

I want to change this situation with your support!

One Young World will support and grow them no matter what age they are, no matter what social status they have. It will offer them to meet young leaders from over 194 countries and incredible famous world leaders as well. Highshoolers will feel their great passion and start considering what they can do for the society and Fukushimaa in the future or even NOW!

One Young world is the world biggest leadership forum to empower young people to make lasting connections and create positive change. In 2009, World Economic Forum declared its start, and in 2010, the first forum was held in London, 2nd was Zurich, 3rd Pittsburgh, 4th Johannesburg, 5th Dublin. This year is Bangkok. At the summit, delegates debate solutions for social issues that their community is facing, hear inspiring speech, attend workshop based on their interest.

I attended Dublin forum. Many people who have different focus, such as education, environment, global business, human rights, peace & security, even sports and art, attended and discussed about their actions and shared their dream they are seeking. Also there were many world-famous and inspiring people attended as counselors and they also gave us motivational speech that we can’t normally hear except in the summit.
