ケースB：　身体障害のある少女の人生が変わる

Tsetseg is a bright 8 year old, and she is not able to use her leg caused by an illness,  and she has to use either a wheelchair of crutches.  She lives in a village  in  Aimag.  The LLEC teachers visit her once a week, to give her social classes, lessons and works with her, but during winter months the teacher could not visit.  They also pick her up for lessons at the LLEC centres, but during the snow storm or with the pandemic, the roads closed and special vehicles fitting the wheelchair cannot pass.

ツェツェグ　は8歳の聡明な女の子です。小さい時の病気で足の自由がきかず松葉杖か車いすを使っています。僻地の寒村に住んでいます。学習センターから毎月先生が家庭訪問し、社会参加の訓練や学習をしてくれますが、冬季は道が雪や氷で通行止めになり、来られません。センターで訓練して貰えますが車いす対応のバンも通れなくなります。

Her parents are sad about Tsetseg and do not want her to face the hardship outside home.  Anyway they are busy working and her older sister is looking after Tsetseg. Tsetseg was excited to try the online learning with the DE pilot.  She found it extremely easy to work with the new tablet.  In fact, during the pilot she was caught spending many hours talking with her new friends using the tablet, when our expert checked using the Kaspersky kids to monitor the use of tablet by each child.  This security system allows teachers to make sure the children do not access illegal websites or software. Even though she was stuck at home, Tsetseg was able to communicate with other children in distant locations for the first time!  This really changed her life and provided a new experience to help her grow. 

両親はそんなツェツェグを不憫に思っていましたが、外で辛い思いをさせるのも可哀そうなのでそのままにしています。両親とも仕事が忙しくお姉さんがツェツェグの面倒を見ています。ツェツェグは今度の遠隔教育パイロット授業の話を聞いて本当に舞い上がる様な気持ちでした。配布されたタブレットパソコンは難なく使いこなしてしまいました。担当の先生がタブレットの使用をいつもどおりチェックしたところ、ツェツェグは数時間も遠くの友人とおしゃべりしていたのが見つかってしまいました。この様に児童監督のソフトを使用し、子供達が危険なサイトやSNSをうっかり使用しないようにチェックを行います。ツェツェグは家にこもったままで数人の新しい友人と交流し世界が急に広がりました。少しの間に明るくなりずいぶん成長した感じです。
