すてきなおかあさんたち！
みなさんこんにちは！
カマルフリーダのクラウドファンディングも終了まであと1週間をきっています。
これからは現地の人々の様子やカマルフリーダとのこれまでのつながりを中心としてレポートいたします。まずは「すてきなおかあさん」たちから。
写真右端にいるのはブラカン州科学技術局、局長のプランガオさん。ワーキングマザーで、調理士の資格ももっています。でも彼女といっしょに料理をならっているおかあさんたちもすできですね。なんだかみんな「中流」の仲間入りをしたみたいですね！1年前、あのスモーキーマウンテンでトイレもないみすぼらしい掘っ立て小屋に住んでいたひとたちだったなんて考えられませんね！
下の写真で野球帽をかぶっているのはカマルフリーダのスタッフ、キム・セリゴです。彼女もスラムで育っていますがなんとか大学にいくことができました。スラムのひとたちにはそれは夢みたいなことかもしれませんが、その夢をかなえたいとおもいます。大学までいきたいという子たちがいけるようになればなんとすばらしいことでしょう！！そして、これはその第一歩です！おかあさんたちがちょっとした稼ぎを得られるようになり、子供たちも栄養バランスのとれた野菜スナックがふんだんに食べられるようになるからです！！
条件を少しずつ整え、努力すれば、なんとかできます。子供たちがちゃんと服をきて、ご飯を食べて、勉強できること。学校にいき、遊んだり勉強したりして友達とたくさん思い出をつくれること。病気になったら治療できること、ちょっとした楽しい瞬間を毎日味わうことができること。そんな感じの普通の生活が営めるようになる第一歩です。
そして、「おかあさんのつくった料理を食べてキッチンのまわりで皆と遊んで楽しかったね」、とあとで振り返ることができる思い出がたくさんできたら子供たちの未来もずいぶん違ったものになるのでは。。。と思います。
