Contrabass　城所琳音さん　Rion Kidokoro


1, 音楽・楽器の経験歴
　ーMusic / musical instrument experience

 母の影響で3歳の時にピアノを始めました。中学時代は部活が忙しく、音楽からは離れていましたが、高校一年生の時に吹奏楽部でコントラバスに出会い、その後音大へ入学。それまではソロや吹奏楽だけだった世界が、オーケストラや室内楽、オペラ、合唱..様々なアンサンブルを学び、広がっていきました。
 また、幼い頃からポップスにも興味があったため、2年前からアコースティックギターを始め、現在は弾き語りも練習しています。

—I started playing the piano due to my mother’s influence when I was 3 years old. In junior high school, club activities were busy and I was away from music, but when I was in the first year of high school, I met a contrabass in the brass band club and then enrolled the music college. The world, which used to be only solo and brass band, has expanded by learning various ensembles such as orchestra, chamber music, opera, and chorus.
I was also interested in pop music from an early age, so I started playing acoustic guitar two years ago and am practicing sing with guitar.

　Twilight Is Nowのコントラバスパートは、D-A-E-F D-A-F-E というテーマが淡々と続いていきます。コントラバスの譜面だけを見ると一見変わりばえしない音列が、各楽器の音が重なっていくとどのような響きになるのか、とても興味深く楽しみです。

ーThe theme of “Twilight Now“ contrabass part D-A-E-F D-A-F-E continue calmly.
It is very interesting and fun to see how the sound sequence that does not change at first glance when looking only at the score of the contrabass sounds when the sounds of each instrument overlap.
